Terms of Service

 

CORONA LAWNS – RECURRING LAWN MAINTENANCE TERMS OF SERVICE

SERVICE COMMITMENT
We do not require a long-term contract; however, we do not offer one-time lawn cuts. Our services are designed for recurring care. If you cancel after just one service, an initial setup fee will apply before future services can resume.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN BASIC CARE
Each basic lawn service includes mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing clippings from all paved and walkable areas.
This estimate covers the front yard, side yards, and backyard within a fenced area (if applicable). Areas behind fences are not included unless specifically requested and documented in your estimate. If new obstacles such as fences, playgrounds, or plant beds are added, we may need to update your estimate accordingly.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Standard services do not include:

  • Shrub trimming

  • Plant bed weed control

  • Leaf removal from plant beds

If you’d like help with these tasks, let us know and we’ll provide a separate estimate.

SEASONS & SERVICE FREQUENCY
Lawn growth depends on many factors—turf health, grass type, maintenance, weather, etc.—but generally:

  • Growing Season: March–October

  • Off Season: November–February

We offer weekly and bi-weekly services during the growing season. In the off season, you can choose weekly, bi-weekly, or every 4 weeks.
If you opt for every-4-week service during the off season and your yard has a significant amount of leaves, a leaf cleanup fee will apply at each visit. The fee is based on the condition of the yard upon arrival. This option is typically more expensive than continuing with bi-weekly services if your yard has heavy leaf accumulation.

WEATHER DELAYS
Our schedule is weather-dependent. Rain and wet conditions can delay service, especially since many lawns in our area retain water and may be too soggy to mow safely. We reserve a “rain day” each week to help catch up.
While we aim to maintain a consistent schedule, service days may shift slightly due to weather. If your scheduled day is impacted, we will be there as soon as conditions allow.

You will never be charged for a service we’re unable to complete due to weather.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pets: Please secure all pets indoors and unlock gates on your service day. While we do our best to secure gates, we cannot be held responsible for lost or injured pets.

  • Gates: You are responsible for ensuring your gate and latch are in proper working order.

  • Sprinklers: Sprinkler heads should retract fully below mower blade height. We are not responsible for damaged sprinkler heads due to improper function.

  • Pet Waste: Please remove pet waste at least two days before your service. Excessive waste will prevent us from completing your service.

MISSED SERVICES & FEES
If we are unable to complete your service due to locked gates, pets in the yard, or excessive pet waste, we do not return on an unscheduled day to finish the service, nor do we discount for partially completed yards.
If this results in overgrowth by your next scheduled visit, a tall grass fee may apply.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice if you need to skip a scheduled visit.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 business hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee.

  • If you skip three or more visits during the growing season, we will charge a “save your spot” fee equal to half your normal service cost, or we may cancel your spot entirely.

We do not overbook our routes. Once your spot is reserved, we turn away new customers to hold your place. Please be mindful of this when requesting skips.

PRICING
We’ll never raise your rate without notice. Rates may change due to:

  1. Annual adjustments for inflation or labor cost increases

  2. Corrections if a property was initially underquoted

First-time service fees may be higher due to overgrowth, buildup of leaves or sticks, or neglected edges.

SERVICE HOURS & SCHEDULING
We mow Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Due to the nature of our work, we cannot provide exact service times. We aim to keep you on a consistent day each week, but rain or holidays may shift your schedule slightly, including into the weekend.

We do not work on federal holidays. Services that fall on or after a holiday will be pushed one day later (weather permitting).

GRASS CLIPPINGS & CUTTING HEIGHT
We do not bag grass clippings. Our commercial mowers mulch them back into the lawn to recycle nutrients.
We follow best practices and never cut more than one-third of the grass blade to avoid turf stress. Cutting height is based on grass type, current conditions, and season.

BILLING & PAYMENTS
A credit card on file is required to begin recurring services.

  • You’ll receive a job completion email after each service.

  • Invoices are generated within 7 days of service completion.

  • Your card will be charged at that time, and you’ll receive a paid invoice for your records.
